Certificate layers
A registry certificate is the platform record for an item or asset. A chain certificate records selected certificate data on a blockchain. An NFT Certificate is the physical card's digital certificate associated with the matching collectible record.
These layers help verification; they do not turn the certificate into an investment product.
What an NFT Certificate means
An NFT Certificate may show contract address, token ID, metadata URI, current owner preview and transaction hash.
Holding or viewing an NFT Certificate does not guarantee legal title, custody, authenticity outside the recorded review, resale value, buyback or return.
When chain fields are blank
Blank chain fields usually mean the item is Registry Only, Pending Mint, Not Minted or awaiting manual sync. EditionKey should not invent hashes, owners or contracts to make a page look complete.
