What EditionKey is
EditionKey gives physical collectibles a durable digital identity. The registry can show an item record, edition details, source notes, certificate status, chain proof and claim status.
The product is designed for verification and provenance. It is not a marketplace and it does not promise asset value.

Use Verify to search a Card ID printed on a collectible.
Use Shop to buy EditionKey-issued physical cards directly when a sales theme is open.
Use Registry to browse reviewed assets, official records, creator proofs and certificate records.

Buying physical cards in Shop
The EditionKey Shop sells physical collectible cards. When a card includes an NFT Certificate, that certificate is the card's digital certificate and is not an investment product.
Checkout creates a short inventory lock. The exact Card Unit, Card ID and claim eligibility are assigned only after payment succeeds.
After payment succeeds, My Cards can show the physical fulfillment status beside the digital certificate status, such as pending shipment, shipped, pending pickup, picked up or certificate preparing.
What to compare
A visitor should compare Card ID, edition number, approved image, certificate number, source notes and status labels together. A single field should not be treated as the entire proof.
